Rice Crispy Treats - Right 4 All Types

Rice Crispy Treats are a favorite of children and adults alike! Here's a healthier version of the standby.


  • 1 ½ cups of puffed rice cereal
  • ⅓ cup of cocoa powder
  • 6 tablespoons of pure maple syrup
  • 5 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of almond or peanut butter
  • Small cupcake papers


In a saucepan over medium heat, add the butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup and nut butter and melt until the mix is smooth. Place puffed rice in a mixing bowl and pour in melted ingredients. Mix until all the puffed rice has been covered in chocolate. Scoop into cupcake papers and freeze for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
