The primary ingredient in Fucus Plus is bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosis) seaweed. The unique composition of bladderwrack includes the unique monosaccharide fucose, and other long-chain sugars known as high molecular weight polysaccharides. Readers of Dr. D'Adamo's writings will know that fucose is part of the antigen that determines blood type O and the difference between secretors and non-secretors.

Dr. Peter D'Adamo:

"All blood types have the sugar fucose as part of their distinguishing antigen. However, types A and B have other sugars as well. Only type O has fucose as the sole identifying antigen. This opens up the possibility that in this blood type fucose can provide a type of blocking protection from invaders that might try to hijack the type O immune system by attaching to its main antigen. "

The high molecular weight polysaccharides in Fucus vescuosis include fucoidin, which is known to inhibit the growth of many unfriendly bacteria, yeast, and viruses.

Dr. Peter D'Adamo:

"The recorded use of Fucus vesiculosus, also called “bladderwrack” or “sea wrack” dates back to at least the time period of the Eclectic Physicians of the 19th century. Historically these physicians used this seaweed for goiter (swelling of the tissue or cells of the thyroid) and for obesity."

This plant was grown and harvested by trained marine botanists and immediately freeze-dried to preserve its molecular integrity. Fucus Plus is suitable for all blood types but may be particularly beneficial to blood type O individuals to help support a healthy digestive system. Bladderwrack may also provide specific benefits, such as helping to maintain a healthy overall body composition and supporting immune system health.

Fucus vesiculosis contains iodine. If you are being treated for a thyroid condition, are allergic to shellfish, or are nursing or pregnant, consult your physician before taking this product.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
