From birth until you turn 30, your muscles continue to grow bigger and stronger. But at some point in your 30s, you will begin to lose muscle mass, strength and function, a condition known as sarcopenia. Sedentary people will lose 3% to 5% of their muscle mass per decade after the age of 30. Normally, adults who are sedentary beyond the age of 50 can expect a loss of muscle mass of up to a half pound per year. Women experience sarcopenia at a 150% greater rate than men, which is especially liable to accelerate at menopause.

There seems to be no single cause for muscle loss as we age. Studies have identified certain environmental factors, disease triggers and problems with the mitochondria of our cells. The strongest evidence seems to implicate age-related hormonal changes in the body, a decrease in the ability to turn protein into energy, and a lack of physical activity.
So what can we do to slow the onset or progression of sarcopenia?

The two best-studied ways of slowing (and in many instances reversing) sarcopenia are exercise (resistance training) and a good diet (with adequate protein). Regardless of a person’s age, they can experience significant strength improvement with a progressive resistance exercise program even into their eighth and ninth decades of life. Combining this with a diet tailored to your genetics by blood type is a surefire way to stay strong throughout all stages of your life.

Aromastat is an all-natural blend of herbs shown in clinical studies to help balance the enzyme aromatase. Aromatase is an enzyme found in the liver that converts testosterone into estradiol and androstenedione into estrone. Thus, its primary action is to convert steroid hormones into estrogen-class hormones. The main effect of Aromastat is to help our body maintain the proper levels of testosterone, a hormone of concern and significance to both men and women. In men especially aromatase levels tend to increase with age, often converting what little testosterone is left into estrogens.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
