I love developing new products. There’s something very satisfying about taking a raw material, pairing it with another raw material or two, sourcing it, and creating a supplement that has potentially life changing abilities. This process appeals to the alchemist in me, and I enjoy the challenge of finding unique ingredients to include in the NAP products. This month, we are launching four new products that I am really pleased to have for use personally, and I think you’ll find them intriguing as well. They are highlighted in this issue of the newsletter, and I encourage you to check them out. As we move into the fall season, I am enjoying the outdoors, knowing that soon, it’ll be too cold to enjoy gardening, landscaping, and the occasional bike ride. The process of preparing the land for winter, whether it is clipping the overgrowth of the Echinacea, cutting back the various grasses, or planting bulbs for next spring is very similar to our process as humans. Many times throughout our lives we need to assess and streamline our lives – am I doing too much? Too little? Have things accumulated that I need to weed out and streamline? What do I need to set in motion so that it comes to fruition? We also need to do this with our health protocols. How’s my diet? Have a lot of those pesky avoids crept back in? What about my supplements? Are they targeted to what is happening to me right now, or is it the same regime I started three years ago? Am I exercising? And I am fully expressing myself? Along with the seasonal change comes a natural time of self reflection and assessment that allow us to make slight adjustments and keep refining our life and health plans. These adjustments allow us to stay current with ourselves and hopefully avoid situations where we are taken by surprise. Take some time, hopefully in the beautiful fall air, to create a seasonal plan for yourselves. It’s a great way to stay related to yourself and insure that you will reap the rewards of your hard work. Happy fall, Peter |

Update on Dr. D'Adamo's Clinic Shift at University of Bridgeport School of
Naturopathic Medicine |
|||
![]() |
In our last issue, we mentioned that Dr. D'Adamo was running a Personalized Medicine Shift at The University of Bridgeport’s College of Naturopathic Medicine. The Shift began in August and has been extremely well received by both the students and faculty alike. One of Dr. D’Adamo’s students, Maura Henninger, is writing a weekly blog on the Personalized Medicine Shift, which details the journey that she and her fellow students are taking with Dr. D’Adamo. Descriptive and well-written, this blog lets you experience, from a practitioner’s point-of-view, what it’s like to be part of this ground-breaking work. http://theubshift.blogspot.com |
